Hotel Pick-up & Transfer to Lantau Island
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Lantau Island in a comfortable private vehicle.

Hong Kong Lantau Island Day Trip
Take a 25 minutes ride on the Ngong Ping Cable Car to Ngong Ping Terminal. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Lantau Country Park, Tung Chung Bay, Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macau Bridge, the Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha) and the Ngong Ping Plateau during this ride. Climb the 268 steps to the Big Buddha sitting in front of Po Lin Monastery. The Big Buddha is the second largest outdoor Buddha statue in the world standing 34 meters in height. Visit the Po Lin Monastery and the hall of 10,000 Buddhas. From Ngong Ping, it is a 20-minute bus ride to Tai O fishing village, one of the few remaining places in Hong Kong where you can still see stilt houses over the water. Tai O is still known for its traditional production of shrimp paste and for its colourful seafood market.
