Visit Foshan Ancestral Temple
Foshan Ancestral Temple was first built during the Northern Song dynasty between 1078 and 1085. Originally, it may have been a temple to the ancestor of a local clan, but by the time it was rebuilt in 1372 at the beginning of the Ming dynasty it was a Taoist temple dedicated to  the "Northern God", a Cantonese form of the "Dark Warrior" Xuanwu, who is said to have power over the waters of Guangdong. Foshan Ancestral Temple consists of Ancestral Temple, Confucius Temple, Huang Feihong Memorial Hall and Ip Man Hall).  The present temple grounds include the original temple on the East side and a Confucian temple from 1911 on the southwest corner, along with Huang Feihong Memorial Hall and Ip Man Hall which were newly founded in the first year of the 21 century to commemorate two Foshan born martial art masters Huang Feihong and Ip Man.

Visit Liang Garden
Liang Garden is a general term for the Liang family's gardens in Foshan. It was built by renowned local calligraphers from the Liang family in 1796 during the Qing Dynasty. Liang Garden is famous for its beautiful lake and rare stones, and it also collects the masterpieces of ancient calligraphers. Designed in Lingnan (Guangdong) style, it delights with ponds, willow-lined pathways. The shimmering lakes and reflections of the surrounding buildings and rockeries present beautiful scenes from every angle. It's one of the four great classical gardens with a large collection of the masterpieces of ancient calligraphers.

Visit Nanfeng Ancient Kiln
Located in Shiwan Town, Nanfeng Ancient Kiln was built in the Ming Dynasty between 1506 and 1521. It has been continuously firing Shiwan ware for over 500 years so far. In the old days, the local people recalled Shiwan's kilns as firing ceramics stoves. Shiwan became China’s most important ceramics production centre. Among all the kilns in Shiwan, the most famous ones are the two ancient ‘dragon kilns’ of more than 30m in length.
