Dalian Cruise Port Pick-up & Transfer to Xinghai Park
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you at Dalian Cruise Port at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Xinghai Park in a comfortable private vehicle.

Xinghai Park
Xinghai Park is about 800 meters in length and has luxuriant trees and flowers on the landward side while the coastal side comprises a beach of golden sands. Qile Pavilion, Wanghai Pavilion and Yingchao Pavilion are connected by cobblestone footpaths. Cliffs tower above the sea at the eastern and western ends of Xinghai Park and the cliff tops present stunning views across the bay where sea and sky blend together on the distant horizon. The Tanhai Cave can be seen in the eastern cliffs.

Xinghai Square
Xinghai Square is located to the north of Xinghai Bay. It covers a total area of 110 ha (270 acres), making it the largest city square in the world. Its name literally means "the Sea of Stars". Xinghai Square was built at the centennial of the City of Dalian in 1998. The sculptures of 1000 footprints and an opened book facing the sea commemorates the vicissitudes of the city's history. Around the square are high-end apartments, restaurants, banks, luxury sports car dealers and an amusement park. The Xinghai Bay beach, the Castle Hotel, Dalian Modern History Museum and Dalian Shell Museum are also nearby. For 10 days in late-July early-August, Xinghai Square holds the annual International Beer Festival.

Zhongshan Square
Zhongshan Square was originally built in 1898 by the Russians as Nicholas Square. It was later renamed by the Japanese as Ōhiroba, meaning large plaza when Dalian was under Japanese rule from 1905 to 1945. After 1945, it was renamed as Zhongshan Square, in honor of Sun Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen), the first president of the Republic of China. Zhongshan Square is 213 metres (699 ft) in diameter. Inside the five-lane roundabout there is a green zone and a paved area where people gather to dance on summer evenings. There are underground passages leading to the inside of the square from both Zhongshan and Renmin Roads. Several classical buildings located on the square were built during the first half of the 20th century by the Japanese.

Binhai Road (Photo stop at Beida Bridge, Tiger Statues)
A scenic drive along the coast stretching some 32 km (19.9 mi), Binhai Road makes a great start when exploring Dalian. This road was constructed in 1970s and used for military purpose initially. It is now a premier tourist attraction of Dalian. This clifftop route provides dozens of tourist attractions, with plenty of ways to enjoy the ocean and mountain scenery. Intensely colored, larger-than-life sculptures of various animals attract children, making this route a favorite for family trips. While driving along the road, you can enjoy clear and fresh air coming from the sea.

Bangchui Island
Bangchui Island is located at far east end of Binhai Road, and consists of three parts: hotel buildings, sea beaches, and Bangchui Island. Bangchui Island is an offshore area of 0.3 km², named for its shape of a wooden club (used to beat clothes in washing). The main peak on the island is 53.1 meters above sea level. On the top of it, you will have a panoramic view of the urban landscape and waterfront scenery. The Island is dotted with villas of different styles. The eastern part of Bangchui Island is the Beach, 500 meters long with soft white sand and clear water, which is one of the best beaches in Dalian.

Russian Style Street
Russian Style Street takes you back to the seven years that Dalian was ruled by Russians from 1898 to 1905 as part of the Russian Empire. As you stroll, admire the grand European-style buildings, including the former Russian City Hall, which spreads along an open square. In 1999, a project to renovate the buildings began, resulting in the refurbishing of eight structures from the Russian period, the construction of six new buildings in the Russian Imperial style, and new Russian-styled facades for another six buildings. Keeping with the theme, the street also hosts Russian restaurants, clubs, and souvenir shops.

Japanese Style Street
In the aftermath of the Russo-Japanese War in 1905, Russia surrendered Dalian to the Japanese, who would rule it for the next 40 years till 1905. Dalian today still retains significant vestiges of its Japanese past, in terms of the urban planning of the city and in terms of the hundreds of colonial-era buildings that still stand – many of these are examples of Imperial Japanese architecture. The Japanese Style Street is about 1000 meters long, flanked by Japanese styled houses, restaurants, sculptures as well as small and nice fountain. The decoration of house ( houses there are not for living, but for showcasing) is chic and delicate, presenting a harmonious feel with surroundings.
