Day 1 Arrival in Changsha, Changsha Airport or Train Station Pick-up
Meet your guide at Changsha airport or train stations and transfer to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. After getting settled at the hotel, you may explore Changsha on your own. Changsha is the capital city of South China's Hunan Province and has a history of over 3,000 years. Mao Zedong lived and worked as a teacher in Changsha, and it was the site of his conversion to communism. A huge sculpture of Mao's head on Orange Island reminds everyone of his connection to Changsha.

Day 2 Bullet Train to Zhangjiajie, Baofeng Lake, Grand Canyon Glass Bridge
Take bullet train to Zhangjiajie (approximately 3 hours).  Enjoy a relaxing boat ride at Baofeng Lake upon arrival. The crystal clear green waters, lush green peaks and a soothing song is all you need to unwind midst your China exploration. After the cruise, take the bus back to the entrance gate and walk to Baofeng Lake Waterfall. Pouring down from a hundred meters above with thunderous sound this is another highlight at Baofeng Lake. Continue visiting Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. This record-breaking glass-bottomed and transparent bridge measures 1,410 feet long and stands 984 feet above the ground. Not only is the structure the world’s longest and tallest glass bridge, but it also overlooks a UNESCO World Heritage Site - making the views all the more exquisite. When walking across the bridge you can see all the way down to the bottom of the canyon through the glass bridge.

Day 3 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Drive to Wulingyuan Scenic Area, where Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is located. Famed for its sandstone karst pillars stretching skywards, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Take a cable car up to Tianzi Mountain to enjoy the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Scenic spots here include: Yubi Peak (Imperial Brush Peak), Fairy Spreading Flowers Peak, Warrior Taming a Horse and Devine Troops. Then take a shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie scenic area. Yuanjiajie is the place that was used as the backdrop in the James Cameron movie “Avatar”. Huge rocks with unique shapes rising from deep valleys and surrounded by higher mountains. It offers a breathtaking sight and looks like a painting. Scenic spots at Yuanjiajie include: Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, the First Bridge under the Heaven, Back Garden and Enchanting Stage. Get Down the Mountain by Bailong Elevator which is the world’s tallest outdoor sightseeing elevator and the fastest passenger elevator with the biggest capacity. Afterwards, walk along the Golden Whip Stream for 40 minutes along the stream to enjoy an eyeful of green plants and listen to the gurgle of streams and singing of birds.

Day 4 Zhangjiajie, Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Bullet Train to Changsha
Transfer to Tianmen Mountain Cable Car Station. This Cable Car is the longest cable car system in the world. Spanning 7 kilometers, it takes 30 minutes to travel from the city of Zhangjiajie to the top of Tianmen Mountain which is named Yunmeng Fairy Summit. Enjoy a captivating views of Tianmen Mountain and Wulingyuan Scenic Area on Yunmeng Fairy Summit. Walk to the Cliff Hanging Walkway, built on the over 1,400 meter (4,593 feet.) high steep cliff. There is nothing underneath of the pathway except for air. One section of the plank way has glass floors which is known as Sky Walk. Descend to Tianmen Gate that gives the mountain its name. There is also an escalator built inside the mountain which will take you to Tianmen Gate and 999 Steps. You can challenge the 999 Steps by hiking or take the escalator at your own extra cost to get down to the bottom of the 99 Steps. From 99 Steps, take a shuttle bus down the winding 99-Bend Road, which curls sinuously around the mountainside to the cable car station. Take bullet train to Changsha (approximately 3 hours).
