Know Before You Go
• Keep your passport with you throughout the tour; it may be needed to buy entrance tickets.

Hotel Pickup, Transfer to Shi Family Mansion
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Shi Family Mansion (approximatly 25 km) in a comfortable private vehicle.
Visit Shi Family Mansion
Shi Family Mansion is the former residence of wealthy merchant Shi Yuanshi. First built in 1875, it covers over 6,000 square meters, including large and small yards and over 200 folk houses, a theater and over 275 rooms that served as apartments and places of business and worship for this powerful family. Many of the rooms feature period furniture, paintings and calligraphy. Part of the complex has been turned into the Yangliuqing Museum, which includes displays focused on symbolic aspects of the courtyards' construction, local folk art and customs, and traditional period furnishings and crafts.
Visit the Five Great Avenues
Five Great Avenues are located in the south of the downtown Tianjin, a prime location of the British concession, parallel streets from east to west named after five cities of southwest China, namely Chongqing, Changde, Dali, Munan, and Machang. There are over 230 buildings of all kinds from the architecture of Britain, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. Colourful architectural styles range from the Renaissance, Greek, Gothic, Romantic and Eclectic. In the 20th century, social and political unrest made concessions a haven for ousted politicians and businessmen, various dignitaries and rich people lived in Tianjin.
Visit Jingyuan Garden
Constructed in 1921, Jingyuan Garden is a heritage site under city protection and the important historic architecture under the special protection area of Tianjin. Originally named Qianyuan Garden, it was the private residence of Lu Zongyu, minister-counsellor to Japan. In 1929, Qianyuan Garden was changed its name to Jingyuan Garden by Puyi, China's last emperor when he settled here. Jing literally means serenity and the Garden was named after the emperor who try to strengthen himself with noble spirit by living in a peaceful environment. Jingyuan Garden integrates both Chinese and European architecture style, the main building is a two-storied Spanish architecture. From 1927 to 1931, China's last emperor Puyi lived here with his empress, concubine and former officials from the exile.

Visit Porcelain House
The Porcelain House is a contemporary museum of pottery and antiques entirely decorated in porcelain, inside and out. Though the site was originally a colonial building, the present owner redecorated it by using about 4,000 pieces of ancient porcelain, 400 pieces of jade stone carving, 20 tons of crystal and agate and million pieces of ancient Chinese ceramic chips, leaving it with a style combining traditional and modern elements of Chinese culture. You'll see porcelain decorations everywhere--on handrails, ceilings, and walls. Take a walk around the house and see precious furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as the roof of the house, adorned by a gigantic porcelain dragon.
Visit Ferris Wheel, Eye of Tianjin
Tianjin Eye is a 120-metre (394 ft) tall giant Ferris wheel built above the Yongle Bridge (formerly Chihai Bridge) which straddles the Hai River. It is claimed to be the only such wheel to have been constructed over a bridge. Tianjin Eye has 64 exterior transparent capsules, ideal for 360º sightseeing. The ride takes about 40 minutes. It is able to see within a radius of 40 km on the top on a clear day.
Visit the Ancient Culture Street
The Ancient Cutlure Street is lined with shops, cafes and interesting architecture, including lots of copies of Qing Dynasty buildings. Some of the most interesting buildings are Tianhou Palace, Yuhuang Cabinet (Ming Dynasty building) and Tongqingli (large residential building). Tianhou Palace is a temple dedicated to the goddess Mazu and biggest in the North China region
