Know Before You Go
• Pick-up time will be confirmed by WhatsApp, WeChat or email.
• Keep your passport on you constantly. It might be needed to buy entrance tickets.
• Your guide will hold GoGrandChina welcome sign with your name and wait at the appointed meeting place.
• Meals (lunch & dinner) are not included. Please feel free to ask your guide for suggestions and recommendations.

• We provide up to 20 minutes of waiting at the pick-up address. If you don’t show up during the waiting time and cannot be contacted, your tour will be cancelled and you will receive no refund.
• Please be aware that if you book your accommodation on Airbnb, you may not be picked-up at the door for reasons that Airbnb accommodations may not be reached by vehicles due to community regulations.
Day 1 Pick up from Xishuangbanna Airport or Hotels in Jinghong, Drive to Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Birdwatching
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (approximately 65km) in a comfortable private vehicle. Situated on an island, the garden is surrounded by rivers and mountains that contain a wealth of rare and unusual plants. It is a plot of land about a mile wide formed by a river winding around it on three sides. The Luosuo River isolates the plants and protects them from wild animals. A bridge provides access from the town of Menglun. The garden covers over 11 square kilometers, including an area of 2.5 square kilometers of primary tropical rainforest. It fosters more than 13,000 species of plants in its 35 living collections. In the park, there are 37 special sections for plant growth, including the shade-growing plant section, the palm plant section, the water plant section and the banyan section, among others. Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden is an ideal location to venture for excellent birding, for it is home to 267 species of birds.
