Hotel Pickup & Transfer to Ganlanba Dai Village
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pickup sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Ganlanba Dai Village in a comfortable private vehicle.
Visit Ganlanba Morning Market & Dai Minority Park
Drive out of Jinghong along the Mekong River to visit Ganlanba Dai Ethnic Village (approximately 30km). Meaning olive plain, the name of Ganlanba derives form the olive-shaped land covered with a dense forest. The land is low, rich and beautiful, and the weather is hot and wet, and the plain is level and expansive. Betalpalms, coconut palms, oil palms and banana trees make it green all the year round. Bamboo houses on stilts and Buddhist pagodas hide behind coconut palms and other trees. Visit the morning market, then stroll around Ganlanba Dai Minority Park to experience the culture and Dai people’s daily life. Enjoy the “the Oriental Carnival” in Water-splashing Square, and pay visits to five Dai villages - Manjiang, Manchunman, Manting, Manzha and Manga. View bamboo houses, Buddhist temple, gold pagoda, white pagoda, drum tower and special musical instruments.

Visit Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG)
Founded in 1959, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is the largest tropical garden in China, to witness why Xishuangbanna is called “the Kingdom of Plants”. XTBG’s 1125-hectare area includes a 250-hectare patch of well-preserved primary tropical rainforest. XTBG’s excellent preservation of over 13,000 species of plants in its 38 living collections has enhanced its reputation for being one of the most diverse botanical gardens for outdoor plants in the world. Breathe freely in the natural oxygen bar and appreciate different kinds of unique plants while walking through Tropical Zone, Aquatic Botanical Garden and other scenic zones.
Transfer Back to Your Hotel
Your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Jinghong.
