Introducing Yangdi Village
Yangshuo Yangdi Village is located in the north of Yangshuo County. Covering an area of 102.8 square kilometers, Yangdi Village is 39 km from the county, and 50 km from Guilin City. The east side of Yangdi Village is beside Xingping Ancient Town, the southwest of the village is connected with Grape Town, to its north is bordered by Yanshan District.

What to expect at Yangdi Village

In 1969, the Commune of Yangdi was established, and it was renamed as Yangdi Village in 1984. At present, Yangshuo Yangdi Village includes 7 other village committees and Yangdi committee, 38 natural villages and 72 groups of villagers and has a population of 11,000. In 2003, the GDP in this village were 33,290,000 yuan, and the per capita income of villagers were 1,797 yuan.

Li River, is like a landscape combination of poems and paintings. And if Li River is a long lyric poem, the way from Guilin to Caoping is the preface of this poem, the main theme of the poem is when the boat passing by Yangdi Village, the curtains are opened and the gorgeous sceneries of Yangshuo are revealed. Far away from the bustling cities and without the pollution of modern industries, Yangdi Village is a typical mountainous resort with a simple folk customs. This section of Li River is long and winding, and is full of scenic sights. The main sights here include Shuilian Cave, Moon Island, Xiangba Island and etc.

How to get to Yangdi Village
• Yangdi Village is approximately 40 km away from Yangshuo and 60 km from Guilin.
• Take a bus from Yangshuo North Bus Station to Yangdi Wharf (1 hour).
• Take a direct bus from Guilin Main Bus Station next to Guilin Railway Station to Yangdi Wharf (1 hour).
• Rent a car/bus from GGC to enjoy a hassle free private transfer from hotels in Guilin or Yangshuo to Yangdi Village.
