Preyer Hall
At the heart of the Xiguan Mosque is its remarkable prayer hall, occupying 141 square meters on the ground floor. The hall’s circular design symbolizes the unity of Muslims from diverse backgrounds. Enhancing this sense of unity are 20 soaring arches, each reaching a height of 17 meters (55 feet), gracefully enclosing the space. The prayer hall extends upward for four stories, culminating in an impressive total height of 37 meters (121 feet). Each floor is meticulously designed with a generous ceiling height of 3.9 meters (12.7 feet), contributing to the hall’s grandeur and openness.
