Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Shipton's Arch on a private vehicle with guide (2 hours).

Visit Shipton's Arch (2 hours)
Shipton's Arch is known as Toshuk Tagh in Uyghur language meaning Mountain with a Hole in it, and Atushi Tianmen in Chinese meaning Atushi Heavenly Gate. Located about 70 km northwest of the city of Kashgar, Shipton's Arch is considered to be one of the top 20 natural wonders and the tallest natural arch in the world. Although this arch was known by the locals for centuries, the discovery of Shipton’s arch for the rest of the world took place in 1947 when Eric Shipton, the last British consul-general in Kashgar introduced the arch to the world in his book Mountains of Tartary. Successive expeditions attempted to find it without success until a team from National Geographic rediscovered the arch in 2000. Measurements verify that this is the tallest natural arch in the world - 1,500 feet (457.2 meters) high, with a 1,200-foot (366 meters) opening. The arch can theoretically fit the Empire State Building, which measures 443m to the tip of the antennae.
