Yalong Bay is a major holiday destination in its own right, known throughout China for its beautiful 7 kilometers long beach and stunning scenery. It is an excellent tropical coastal scenic spot, and is 10 kilometers away from the city center. Yalong Bay is renowned as the “best bay in China”.

What to expect at Yalong Bay

As a crescent-shape bay, Yalong Bay is a silver-white beach with quite soft sand. Nearby South Sea is not get polluted, the water is blue and clear, shown with different stages of blue if you look in the distant. Under the sea are various of corals, you can appreciate the beautiful corals diving in the sea, thus the seabed is the main area tourists want to visit. On the banks of Yalong Bay, trees are everywhere and evergreen. The temperature in winter is still 27 Celsius, and the water temperature is 20 Celsius, thus Yalong Bay is chosen to be the ideal place to avoid cold and have a relief, being called Oriental Hawaii. Along the coastal areas are full of high level hotels, including 5-Stars luxury resorts.

Jinmujiao and Yalongjiao is a wonderful place for rock-climbing. All kinds of water sports can be played in the center of Yalong Bay. Yalong Bay has a number of attractions for visitors including a range of water sports, a Marine Park, Seashell Museum, Butterfly Valley, golf courses and a wide choice beach front restaurants and bars to choose from.

• Yalong Bay can by reached by bus 15, 25 and 27.
• Rent a car/bus from GGC to enjoy a hassle free private transfer from hotels in Sanya to Yalong Bay.
