Introducing Dadonghai Bay
Located in the middle of Yulin Port and Luhuitou Mountain, Dadonghai Bay is a National 4-A Level Scenic Spot, and is the first free opening attraction in Sanya. Dadonghai Bay is a symbol in Sanya, it is one of the "Best Fourty Sceneries in China" selected by National Tourism Administration. Dadonghai Bay is surrounded by mountains on three sides, the left side faces the vast sea, and the coastline of it is 2.9 kilometers long. Dadonghai Bay wins tourists' compliment because its palm forest staning in line, the blue sky, the jade-like sea, the green mountains and the unique beauty of the white beach.

What to expect at Dadonghai Bay

Snorkling, scuba diving, speed boating, sailing, swimming, and many other water activities are all available here at Sanya's most popular beach. Several large shopping malls including the upscale Summer Mall (with Starbucks!) are located in Dadonghai, as well as expat-friendly Dolphin Sports Bar and Grill, which means you will have plenty of shopping and food options nearby the beach.

Dadonghai Bay side bars and restaurants are mostly situated on the coconut palm lined boardwalk--the ideal place to take in the sea breeze and enjoy a seafood meal and refreshments. There are also a number of hotels along the Dadonghai Bay, and more set back from the beach. Come down, get a tan, have some dinner, listen to live bands playing on the boardwalk, buy some Sanya souvenirs, and have a fabulous time!
