Day 1 Arrival in Guiyang, Guiyang Airport or Train Station Pick-up
Meet your guide at Guiyang airport or train stations and transfer to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. After getting settled at the hotel, you may explore Guiyang on your own. Guiyang is the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province and it is the gateway to the ethnic Miao culture in the region.

Day 2 Drive to Kaili, Qingman Miao Village, Shiqiao Miao Village, Boji Miao Village
Drive out of Guiyang to Qingman Miao Village (approximately 180 km). Qingman Miao Village village is a microcosm of a traditional way of life preserved well into the modern day. The houses are made of wood, raised on stilts to climb the steep hillside and tightly packed together to maximise workable farmland. There are 365 households with a population of over 1,600 in this village. Miao women wear a hand-knitted skirt no more than 20 centimeters long, hence the village is also known as Qingman Short-Skirt Miao Village. Visit a Miao household to see the entire process of traditional Miao clothes-making, woven and dyed by hand using traditional techniques. Continue with a visit to Shiqiao Miao Village to see how paper is made in the traditional way. Paper making in Shiqiao Miao Village has a history of over 1,000 years, and is regarded as a 'live fossil' in the research of paper making, around 60 paper-making workshops still existin the village. The traditional papermaking methods of Shiqiao village were listed as China's national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. Afterwards, visit Boji (Boji means dustpan) Miao Village, home to 92 families of Miao people. This village is shaped like a semi-dustpan. Overnight in Kaili.

Day 3 Local Miao Market, Jidao Miao Village, Langde Miao Village, Transfer Back to Guiyang
Morning visit to the Miao Village local market where Miao handicrafts, snacks and fresh vegetables are available. Then, proceed to Jidao Miao Village. The highlights of Jidao Miao Village are the time-honored granaries, the cave of the immortal, the Footprints of buffalos & horses and the old geomantic trees. Continue to visit Langde Miao Village is one of the more picturesque villages with well-maintained, traditional wooden houses set on stilts, winding mountain paths and well-preserved Wind and Rain Bridge. Enjoy a featured Dancing and Singing Performance by local Miao villagers. Drive to Guiyang late in the afternoon (approximately 210 km).

Day 4 Departure from Guiyang, Transfer to Guiyang Airport or Train Stations
