Visit Zhanqiao Pier
Zhanqiao pier is at the southern shore of Qingdao off Zhongshan Road. This now 440 metres (1,443.6 ft) long strip stretches into the sea and was the first wharf at Qingdao. An octagonal pavilion called the Billowing Back and Forth Tower (Huilan Pavilion) stands at the end of the pier and was constructed in 1930. The pier itself was started in 1891 and frequently enlarged. Zhanqiao Pier appears on the label of the Tsingtao Brewery beer bottles and the front of cans. Also in the vicinity of Zhanqiao Pier is the small Qingdao Island, the China Navy Museum, and many neighborhoods featuring German colonial architecture. The coastline lights up at night with spotlights on nearby buildings and several neon billboards.
Visit Small Qingdao Isle
In the shape of a violin jutting into Qingdao Bay, the Small Qingdao Isle – which lends its name to the city – was connected to the mainland in the 1940s. The tiny isle occupies an area of 0.024 square kilometers, 720 meters from the coast and 17 meters high above sea level. The most prominent view on the isle is a white conical lighthouse standing at the highest point of isle. The lighthouse was built by the Germans in 1900 and put into use in1915. It is an excellent spot for watching the city come to life in the morning.

Visit Badaguan Scenic Resort
Badaguan Scenic Resort is a historical mansion area made up of streets named after great military forts of the ancient times. It was originally a residential area for the Germans built when Qingdao was a German protectorate (1897-1914). Each street is lined with a single species of tree and many street names are colloquially known by the trees that line them. Along the streets are houses built in a variety of European architectural styles. Badaguan is a popular destination for wedding photography. One can often see dozens of newlywed-couples being photographed along Badaguan's shoreline and greenspace.
Visit Tsingtao Beer Museum
Tsingtao Beer Museum is in an old Tsingtao Brewery from a hundred years ago. The rows of red buildings are very atmospheric. The roof of the buildingd is decorated with an eye-catching oversized beer can. On view are old photos, preserved brewery equipment and statistics, and there are also a few fascinating glimpses of the modern factory line. Here you can learn about the history of Tsingtao beer, see the old equipment for producing beer, and taste authentic Tsingtao beer. The entrance to the Tsingtao Beer Museum is the famous Dengzhou Road Beer Street. It is full of seafood stalls and bars decorated with flags of Tsingtao beer.
