Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pickup sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Gulong Gorge (approximately 100km, 90 minutes drive) in a comfortable private vehicle.

Explore Gulong Gorge
Gulong Gorge is located within the Gulongxia Scenic Area about 100km north of Guangzhou. In 2018 they opened both a cantilevered glass platform and a glass decked footbridge and claim to be the longest of its type at 72 meters. Today it is the second longest after the 86 meters long glass bridge was completed in Chongqing. The special element of the Gulong Gorge glass platform is the proximity to a beautiful waterfall with several cascades that tumble down into the tree-filled gorge. The structure is supported by three layers of tempered glass panels that are each 4.5cm thick which can withstand the weight of more than 20 tonnes. The amazing cantilevered bridge has been reputed as China's “Glass Grand Canyon” due its similarities to the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the USA. It is said that the cantilevered bridge here is three times the length of The Grand Canyon Skywalk. Upon arrival, hike up to the Nine-waterfall, the nine waterfalls fall from the top of the hill and create an impressive picture. Then, walk on the Glass Walkway (520m) and Glass Bridge (329m) to view the canyon under the glass. Next, get to the Glass UFO Platform (202m) for a view of the Nine-waterfall running from the high mountain to the canyon. The Glass UFO Platform suspends 72 meters in the sky and is inscribed No.1 for its suspension span in the world.
