Visit Lingshan Grand Buddha
Lingshan Grand Buddha is a bronze Amitabha standing Buddha outdoor, weighing over 700 tons. Completed in 1996. The monument is 88 meters in total height, including 9 m lotus pedestal. This giant Buddha is 17 meters higher than Leshan Grand Buddha, making it one of the largest Buddha statues in China and also in the world. The Buddhas are made according to the record of the Buddhist Scriptures Tathagata 32 Images. Standing solemnly at the site of famous Tang Dynasty Xiangfu Temple, the Grand Buddha is pleasing to visitors, widely looking at all the living creatures. The left and right hands have hand print with "wish", wishing the world happy and welfare and the character on the Buddha's front chest represents solemnity and virtue. With the nearby Lake Taihu and a beautiful range of hills, the Lingshan Buddha has become the symbol of Wuxi. Lingshan Giant Buddhist Scenic Area also features some other attractions including the Brahma Palace, Five Mudra Mandala, Nine Dragons Bathing Sakyamuni, Xiangfu Temple and many other Buddhist sites.

Visit Turtle Head Island
Turtle Head Island lies on the northwestern shore of Lake Taihu. It is named after its unique topographic features: a land surrounded by water on three sides, resembling the head of a giant turtle stretching out of the water. This island is a gift endowed by nature, as people could endulge themselves in the green hills and crystal-clear water. The best view of Taihu Lake is seen on this island as a Chinese saying goes: "The superb view of the Taihu Lake lies in the Turtle Head Peninsula”. There are sakura flowers in full bloom in spring, vast green waves in summer, beautiful fallen leaves in autumn and tree branches covered by frost and snow in winter.

Cruise Lake Taihu
Located in the Yangtze river delta area, with an area of 2,250 square kilometers (869 sq mi) and an average depth of 2 meters (6.6 ft), Lake Taihu is the third-largest freshwater lake in China. The lake holds about 90 islands, ranging in size from a few square meters to several square kilometers. Lake Taihu is linked to the renowned Grand Canal and renowned for its unique limestone formations at the foot of the adjacent Dongting Mountain. These "scholar's rocks" or "Taihu stones" are often prized as a decorating material for traditional Chinese gardens, as exemplified by those preserved as museums in nearby Suzhou. Lake Taihu has historically been considered a place of great natural beauty attracting many tourists. Relax with breathtaking natural scenery of Lake Taihu by walking along the northern bank of the lake.

Visit Liyuan Garden
Liyuan Garden is one of the most well-known lakeside gardens in China, covering an area of 5.4 hectares. It is exquisitely designed, and its pavilions, causeways, and corridors, are harmonious in color. The garden got its name from Fan Li, a senior official of the state of Yue who retired to his hometown after defeating the state of Wu during the Warring States Period (475BC - 221BC). One day after he went boating with one of the most beautiful women in ancient China named Xi Shi, he decided to name the lake Li Lake and the garden was later called Liyuan Garden.
