The Tomb of Marquis of Haihun is where Marquis of Haihun, Liu He was buried 2000 years ago. Liu He was given the title Marquis of Haihun after he was deposed as emperor after only 27 days, dethroned by the royal clan because of his lack of talent and morals. Haihun is the ancient name of a very small kingdom near Nanchang. The tomb of Marquis of Haihun was discovered in 2011 and it is considered to be the best-preserved royal tomb from the West Han Dynasty. About 20,000 artefacts have been unearthed from the tomb. Among the unearthed artifacts, there are more than 300 gold objects, 2 million copper coins, a mirror containing the earliest known image of Confucius.

Visit the Pavilion of Prince Teng
The Pavilion of Prince Teng is located on the east bank of the Gan River and is one of the Three Great Towers of southern China. The other two are the Yueyang Tower and the Yellow Crane Pavilion. The Pavilion of Prince Teng was first built in 653 AD. It was to be destroyed and rebuilt a total of 29 times in history. The present Pavilion of Prince Teng was rebuilt in 1989 on the original site. The building is of reinforced concrete, but decorated in Song Dynasty style. It is 57.5 metres tall and has nine stories.

Visit the Shengjin Pagoda
Shengjin Tower was originally built between 904 and 907 during the Tang Dynasty. According to historical records, Shengjin Tower went through many times of rebuilding in history. The latest renovation took place in 2000 due to the corrosion of the wooden structures. The current pagoda has seven stories and  is 50.86 meters hight.

Visit Bayi Square
Bayi Square was built from August 1, 1977 to January 8, 1979, in memory of August 1, 1927 Uprising. Since the day it was finished, it has always been the second largest square in China, after Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Ever since it was constructed, this square became a main site for most big-scale ceremonies and marches. To ordinary residents, due to the extremely hot and humid climate in Nanchang, the square was a popular place for outdoor lounging during summer nights. A music fountain, which was built in the south of the square has become a favourite destination for people, especially in summer nights.
