Day 1 Pick up from Hotels in Lijiang, Stone Drum Town, Liming Scenic Area, Drive to Tacheng
Your private guide will be holding GoGrandChina pick-up sign and waiting for you in your hotel lobby (or other appointed meeting place) at the appointed time. You will be transferred to Stone Drum Town in a comfortable private vehicle (about 52km). Stop at Stone Drum Town for a stunning view of the First Bend of the Yangtze River. It is named so because the Yangtze River takes a sudden turn for over 180 degree, and runs to northeast, forming a huge V-shaped bay. Stone Drum Town is one of the famous ancient town at the river bank of the upper reaches of Yangtze River. As there is a drum-shaped stone tablet carved with white marble, hence the name of the town. Continue driving to Liming Scenic Area, a red sandstone karst mountain landscape. These beautiful layered peaks are some of the highest of their kind in China. People inhabited here are Lisu minority, they are still keep their traditional dress, language, daily lifestyle. Drive to Tacheng Yunnan Snub-Nosed Monkey Nature Reserve.

Day 2 Visit Yunnan Snub-Nosed Monkey Nature Reserve, Drive back to your hotel in Lijiang
Hike the entire loop connecting all the feeding sites in the morning. Watch rangers feeding the monkeys from 09:00 to 09:30. Feeding time continues till 11:00. Then the monkeys would gradually move further up the mountain in search of more food. The Yunnan snub-nosed monkey is the most endangered of China's three snub-nosed monkey species. The long, shaggy coat is mainly black on the back, arms and legs and white on the front. White hair is also present on the flanks and this is particularly long on the adult males. The lips are a deep pink, whilst the face is paler and there are yellowish-grey hairs on the shoulders. These monkeys get their common name for their unusual noses; the nasal bones are absent and the nostrils are upturned. Young ones are born white but become grey over several months. Transfer back to your accommodation in Lijiang (about 180km/112 miles).
