Mounigou Valley forms a part of the western segment of the Huanglong Scenic Area. Mounigou Valley is celebrated for its awe-inspiring mountain vistas, grand waterfalls, and the rich culture that envelops it. It is home to two primary attractions: Zhaga Waterfall and Erdaohai Scenic Area. Zhaga Waterfall is a marvel to witness. As China’s largest travertine waterfall, it stands tall at 93.2 meters (306 feet) with a width of 35 meters (115 feet). The waterfall produces a substantial mist and a thunderous sound as it tumbles down the travertine steps. Under the sunlight, the rock cliff of the waterfall exhibits a floral hue. Erdaohai Scenic Area is another treasure within Mounigou Valley. It is tucked away in a jungle that stretches over an area of 6,800 square meters (1.68 acres). This area boasts more than 400 lakes, including Swan Lake and Ginseng Lake.
