Visit Baotu Spring Park
The Baotu Spring is a culturally significant artesian karst spring located in the city of Jinan. It is mentioned in the Spring and Autumn Annals, one of the Five Classics of Chinese literature, and was declared the "Number One Spring under the Heaven" by the Qianlong Emperor in the Qing dynasty. The Baotu Spring is the most renowned among the more than 70 named artesian springs in the downtown area of of Jinan. The spring pool of the Baotu Spring is fed by an underwater limestone water through three outlets; the volume of the water coming out of the spring can reach peak values up to 1.6 cubic metres per second. The water jets from the spring are said to have reached highs up to 26 metres. The water temperature remains constant of 18 degree Celsius through the entire year.

Visit Daming Lake
Daming Lake, or Lake of the Great Splendour, is the largest lake in the city of Jinan and one of city's main natural and cultural landmarks. Located to the north of the historical city center, the lake is fed by the artesian karst springs of the area and hence retains a fairly constant water level through the entire year. All the water from Ji'nan’s springs eventually flows into Daming Lake, set within the largest park in the city, with boat rides, paddle boats, temples, bridges and little islands to explore. In summer lotuses bloom in pink and white. The park has been a scenic site since the Tang dynasty, inspiring Marco Polo to wax lyrical about its beauty.

Visit Thousand Buddha Mountain
The Thousand Buddha Mountain is located about 2.5 kilometers southeast of the city of Jinan. It covers 1.518 square kilometers (375.1 acres) and has a peak of 285 meters (935 ft) above sea level. It is renowned for its numerous Buddha images which have been carved out of the hill's rock faces or free-standing structures erect since the times of the Sui Dynasty (581-618) and its Xingguochan Temple. Thousand Buddha Cliff boasts about 130 Buddha statues which were carved into Thousand-Buddha Cliff during the Sui period remain today, which can trace back for over 1400 years.

Visit Furong Ancient Street
Furong Ancient Street is a historical business street located in the central area of the old city of Jinan. With a history that can be traced back for more than 2000 years, the street formerly served as the administrative, financial, commercial, and cultural center of Jinan. The street runs through the historical center of Jinan in the north-south direction. To the north, it ends at the Fuxue Confucian Temple and to the south at Quancheng Street, a modern shopping area. The street has a total length of 432 meters and is on average 4.6 meters wide. As the street has a long creek with clear water, it became a gathering place for business people and several wealthy residences were constructed in the surrounding area.
