Know Before You Go
• Hubei Provincial Museum is closed on Mondays. If your tour falls on a Monday, the museum visit will be canceled.
• Please keep your passport with you at all times, as it might be needed for entrance ticket purchases.
• Meals (lunch & dinner) are not included. Please feel free to ask your guide for recommendations.
• Before getting to Wuhan you will receive guide's name & contact information via WhatsApp or email.
• Your guide will greet you in the airport arrival hall with a GoGrandChina welcome sign displaying your name.
Day 1 Arrive Wuhan
Meet your guide at Wuhan airport or train stations, transfer to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. After getting settled at the hotel, you may explore Wuhan on your own. Wuhan is the capital city of Central China's Hubei Province. It is the largest city in Hubei and the most populous city in Central China. Wuhan lies at the confluence of the Yangtze river and its largest tributary, the Han River and is known as "Nine Provinces' Thoroughfare".

Day 2 Yellow Crane Tower, Guiyuan Temple, Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake, Bullet Train to Wudang Mountains
Morning visit to the landmark of Wuhan, Yellow Crane Tower. Regarded as one of the Four Great Towers of China, the Yellow Crane Tower stands on the banks of the Yangtze River. Its cultural significance led to its being made the symbol of Wuhan city. Take the elevator to the top floor and enjoy a stunning view of the Yangtze River and the city of Wuhan. Next, visit the first zen temple to be built in Hubei Province, Guiyuan Temple. Seek out the more than 500 statues of enlightened disciples in the Hall of Arhats. Admire the 2m-high Tang-dynasty tablet carved with an image of Guanyin holding a willow branch in the Mahasattva Pavilion. Then, visit Hubei Provincial Museum. The highlights of Hubei's Provincial Museum are excavations from the Tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng (c 433 BC): there are bronze wares, weaponry and musical instruments – including one of the world’s largest, a remarkable five-tonne set of 65 double-tone bronze bells. Finally, wander through the East Lake, the the largest city lake in China. Take bullet train to the UNESCO world heritage site of Wudang Mountains (approximately 2 & half hours).

Day 3 Wudang Mountains
Home to a famous complex of Taoist temples and monasteries associated with the god Xuanwu, Wudang Mountains are renowned for the practice of Tai chi and Taoism as the Taoist counterpart to the Shaolin Monastery. Being one of the "Four Sacred Mountains of Taoism" in China, Wudang Mountains are an important destination for Taoist pilgrimages. Explore Wudang Mountains from Yuxu Palace, the most imposing Taoist building cluster in Wudang Mountains. Everyday, numerous Kungfu fans come and play Tai Chi or other martial arts at the square. Take a sightseeing bus to Prince Slope (Fuzhen Guan) which was first built in 1412 during Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Walk along a winding passage leading to the temple to reach the Pond of Tears for a beautiful story and also be amazed by the architecture wonder - Five-story Tower. Later, head to Needle-Grinding Well where Zhen Wu overcame himself before he became the God of Wudang Mountains. Continue with a visit to Nanyan Temple, a holy land where Zhen Wu ascended to the heaven. Explore this stunning palaces on the cliff and visit various Taoist temples, stylish architectures and cliff inscriptions. Afterwards, visit Purple Cloud Palace, one of the best preserved palaces with 9 buildings and 182 rooms on Wudang Mountain. Looking from the axle wire, the constructions locate there symmetrically along the mountain, splendid and gorgeous.

Day 4 Wudang Mountains, Bullet Train to Wuhan
Take a sightseeing bus to Qiongtai Palace (altitude:1350 meters), one of biggest Taoist temples of Wudang Mountains. Take a cable car from Qiongtai Palace to the highest peak of Wudang Mountains - Tianzhu Peak at 1612 meters peaks. Hike up to Golden Palace, the symbol of Wudang Mountains. The construction of Golden Palace was started in 1416 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and it features the largest extant brass casting building in China. Enjoy a panoramic view of the vast and sacred Wudang Mountains and its hidden temples on the peak. With the impressive natural sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset, lush forests and rocks, the Palace of Harmony is like a heaven on earth. Take a cable car to get down and transfer to Carefree Valley (Xiaoyao Valley) to enjoy a light walk in this fairyland. Next, visit Wudang Museum to get a further understanding about Taoism and the Wudang Mountains. Take bullet train back to Wuhan (approximately 2 & half hours).
