Introducing China Folk Culture Villages
China Folk Culture Villages is the first large cultural tourist resort with a collection of ethic folk craft, folk customs and folk buildings. Covering an area of 200,000 square kilometers, bordered by Splendid China, China Folk Culture Villages is established in 1997 and opened in the same year. At present, there are 25 typical villages, 22 ethics in this area.

What to expect at China Folk Culture Villages

The performances of folk customs which is played by local villages, the display of folk craft and the regular-run large festivals, Chinese authentic and colorful folk culture can be shown in different angles, and tourists can deeply feel the spirit and charm of this nation. Therefore, China Folk Culture Villages win the "China Folk Museum" because of the 25 villages and the 56 ethics.

In the China Folk Culture Villages, visitors can see Yunnan Stone Forests, Hainan Palm Forests, Nanbin Ancient Banyan, mountains are ups and downs, rivers winding, boats competing and so on. Tourists can take cars, boats or just walk to visit the villages. Every month, folk festival activities will be held in China Folk Culture Villages. These activities are romantic, ceremonious, joyful and propitious, you can completely enjoy the wonderful life there.

Tourists can also enjoy splendid villages’ shows and large music and dance epics in the village. All of the shows present the traditional Chinese culture. Among them, Dragon and Phoenix Dance combines multiple kinds of Chinese traditional art and essential culture.
