Day 1 Arrival in Fuzhou, Fuzhou Airport or Train Station Pick-up
Meet your guide at Fuzhou airport or train stations and transfer to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. After getting settled at the hotel, you may explore Fuzhou on your own. Fuzhou, alternately romanized as Foochow, has been an administrative center since the Qin Dynasty; the traditional date for its founding is 202 BC. Marco Polo visited Fuzhou around 1290. In the era of tea clippers, Fuzhou exported more tea than any other Chinese port. Today, Fuzhou is the capital and one of the largest cities in Fujian province and primarily known in China as a city of parks, plazas and man-made greenspace.

Day 2 Drum Mountain, Luoxing Pagoda, Xichan Temple, West Lake Park, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Three Lanes Seven Alleys
Morning visit to Drum Mountain, a huge ridge that overlooks Fuzhou and provides spectacular view of Fuzhou. Next, visit Luoxing Pagoda. It is said that when foreign sailors and merchants saw the pagoda, they would exclaim China Pagoda in ancient times. Continue with a visit to the Chan Buddhist Xichan Temple, ranked among the top five major Buddhist temples in Fuzhou. Xichan Temple is an ancient temple which can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Then, wander through West Lake Park, the best well-preserved classical garden regarded as a bright pearl of Fuzhou gardens. Afterwards, visit Lin Zexu Memorial Hall founded in 1982 in memory of the national hero Lin Zexu of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), who banned the Opium Trade in 1939 and confiscated and destroyed more than1000 kilograms of opium. Finally, stroll along Three Lanes Seven Alleys, a living fossil of traditional Chinese urban dwelling dated back to the Tang Dynasty.
