Located 120km east of Xian, Mount Huashan stands as one of the most sacred mountains in Taoism, Buddhism, and Chinese history. The 2154 meter high Mount Huashan is known as the mountain with one of the world’s “Most Dangerous Hiking Trail”. Locals know it as the “most precipitous mountain under heaven”. An ancient Chinese saying states that there is only one true path up Mount Huashan. This path is the 12km trek rising 1800m that took 3000 years to build. Now there are two cable cars ferrying hundreds of thousands travelers from all over the world to the summit every day. Reach the West Peak by a 20 minute cable car, hike one hour to the South Peak, 30 minutes to the Plank Walk, 40 minutes to the East Peak, 30 minutes to the Middle Peak, 45 minutes to Canglongling (Black Dragon Ridge) and another 30 minutes to the North Peak where you will descend by North Peak cable car. This private day trip to Mount Huashan will take you to see the breathing-taking natural scenery, steep and narrow paths and pricipitous cliffs that Mount Huashan has to offer in about 5 hours. If you are in good physical health and with a spirit of adventure, no doubt, this is the best option for  a day trip to Mount Huashan.

Mount Huashan
Mount Huashan is located 120 kilometers east of Xi'an. It has long been regarded as the most precipitous mountain in China, edged with sheer granite rock face, rugged cliffs and deep valleys. Its pathway is also one of the most treacherous, winding its way two thousand feet high to a narrow ledge on the rock face. In spite of or perhaps because of this inhospitable landscape, Mount Huashan is rich in flora and fauna. Taoist knows this as the mountain of wealth, and according to tradition, wealth is measured by the diversity of species living on the land. Consequently Mount Huashan has been worshiped as a site of natural abundance for many centuries, possibly for millennium. The beauty and rich terrain of Huashan is enhanced by its profound historical and cultural significance. It is one of the five Taoist sacred mountains of China. It is a place steeped in legend, where the very rocks are engraved with tales and poems from its long history; where gods are said to have performed magic, where emperors have worshiped and sacrificed; and where forefathers of Taoism have set down their religious legacies. Mount Huashan is both naturally and culturally a vital national inheritance to China and the world.

To say short and sweet: Henry was absolutely an awesome guide to Hua Mtns for my family. I have a 10 year old boy and a 14 year old girl. We made sure we were ready to roll by 7am to help beat the crowds out of Xian. We all enjoyed our hike around the two peaks after taking the cable car up. The cable car was amazing. Henry kept my 10 year old engaged and entertained for hiking with lots of fun photos. Henry was knowledgable and very easy to understand his English which was excellent with a nice English accent.

I and My friends booked this tour to explore the mountain and experience the crazy board sky walk. We loved every minute of this adventure! Our guide Broke was great! He was very knowledgable and patient with us. We went there in mid July, at this time there aren't lot of person and then cable car that takes you to one of the peaks. It was absolutely thrilling! We finished at dusk and by the time we came down it was dark. What a sight to behold at sunset! I definitely recommend this tour!!!
