• Cancellations made within 0 - 7 days will not receive a refund.
• After the tour has commenced, there is no refund for canceled services due to non-participation, missed days on tours.

• Mount Emei is 3,077 meters above sea level, consult your doctor if you have High Altitude Cerebral Edema (HACE).
• There is no tour guide for arrival & departure transfers.
• Keep your passport on you constantly. It might be needed to buy entrance tickets.

Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu, Chengdu Airport Pick-up
Your AirAsia flight will arrive at Chengdu Airport at 22:40. You will be greeted by GoGrandChina professional driver and transferred to hotel in Chengdu.

Day 2 Chengdu, Leshan Giant Buddha, Drive to Mount Emei, Baoguo Temple
Morning visit to Leshan Giant Buddha. Carved into the side of Mt. Lingyun, the colossal statue of Leshan Giant Buddha is over 1,300-years-old and is considered to be the largest stone Buddha in the world, and by far the tallest pre-modern statue. In 1996, the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed the Leshan Giant Buddha on their World Heritage List as a mixed cultural and natural property of the world. Drive to Mt. Emei in the afternoon. Mt. Emei is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China. Upon arrival visit Baoguo Temple which mainly enshrines Buddhist deities as well as deities of both Confucian and Taoism, which makes rarely seen temple temple of three religious. the Mahavira Hall of this temple is one of the best preserved wooden-structure buildings in the region of south of the Yangtze River.

Day 3 Mount Emei, Drive to Chengdu
Your Mount Emei trip begins with riding the sightseeing bus (2 hours) to Ledongping station, then hike to Jieyin Hall (1 hour) where you will take a cable car up to the Golden Summit (altitude: 3077 m) of Mount Emei. The world's highest gold statue of Samantabhadra Buddha sits in the Huazang Temple in the center of the summit, and the largest metallic building complex is located there, too. At the highest peak of the mountain, you will be amazed by the awe-inspiring view of Huazang Temple and witness the breathtaking sea of clouds. Then, go down to Wannian Temple parking lot by car. Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple at the middle of the mountain. Appreciate the most beautiful landscape of Mt. Emei in Qingyin Pavilion as you will hike from Wannian Temple to Wuxiangang parking lot. Afterwards, drive back to your hotel in Chengdu (2 hours & 30 minutes).

Day 4 Chengdu, Mount Qingcheng, Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Transferred to Mount Qingcheng (90 minutes) in the morning. Mount Qingcheng is one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. The mountain, which is surrounded by numerous peaks is dubbed 'the most peaceful and secluded mountain under heaven' and combines perfectly with its evergreen scenery. Vist Dujiangyan Irrigation System in the afternoon. Built in 256 BC, this grand irrigation project has played a crucial role in flood prevention and irrigation for over 2,000 years and it is known as one of the great hydraulic engineering projects of ancient China. Originally constructed around 256 BC by the State of Qin as an irrigation and flood control project, the system harnessed Minjiang River using a new method of channeling and dividing the river rather than simply damming it. The water management scheme is still in use today to irrigate over 5,300 square kilometres of land in the region. After the system was finished, no more floods occurred in Chengdu plain of Sichuan province. The irrigation made Sichuan province the most productive agricultural region in China.

Day 5 Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Wuhou Temple, Jinli Ancient Street, Departure from Chengdu
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (40 minutes). Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, or simply Chengdu Panda Base, is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals founded in 1987. Here you can find rivers, lakes, brooks, ornamental green lawns and greens, wild bamboo forests which form the panda’s natural ecological environment. You can closely observe the giant pandas of different ages resting, eating and drinking, playing with each other, using enrichment toys, or watch female pandas nursing their cubs in the nursery rooms. Vist Wuhou Temple in the afternoon. Wuhou Temple, also called Wuhou Shrine or Wuhou Memorial Temple, is an ancestral temple in memory of Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and other heroes in the state of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period when Chengdu was the capital of the state of Shu. Afterwards, walk along the Jinli Ancient Street. Roaming on the 550 meters long Jinli Ancient Street that is said to have been bustling since Qin Dynasty, you can admire the charming old buildings and find diverse shops selling interesting ancient handicrafts.
