White Cloud Mountain
White Cloud Mountain has been one of the most famous spots of natural beauty in Guangzhou, and it's still known as the First Spectacular Scene of the city. Every time the sun shines after the rain, and through late spring, a wreath of airy clouds circles the mountains. This is how White Cloud Mountain has won its name, and its reputation as a marvelous spectacle of nature. White cloud consisting of 30 peaks. Moxing Ridge, known as 'the first peak under the southern sky', is about 382 meters high. You can stand on the summit and look over the whole city and the beautiful Pearl River, the most famous river in Guangzhou. This area is an ideal place for people to relax. It has six areas that are popular with visitors. Yuntai Garden, a bright pearl in the crown of White Cloud Mountain, is located in Santailing Park. Yuntai Garden is an enormous garden filled with all kinds of blooms and trees, which make Guangzhou, City of Flowers, worthy of the name. The Sculpture Park is located in Fei'eling. Here you can stroll idly by the river and mountains, and mingle with the birds. Luhu Park is famous for Jinye Pond. The lake is so clear that the beautiful sights surrounding the lake are perfectly reflected in the water, like a brilliantly drawn picture. It is fairly known as a return to nature from the big city.

Ersha Island
Ersha Island or Jisa Island is an island located in Guangzhou, China. It houses the American International School of Guangzhou, several apartment complexes, a badminton stadium, and a government sports training facility. ErSha Island is also home to the Guangdong Museum of Art and the Xinghai Concert Hall. The Ersha Island is a high-grade residential area. Many consulates of foreign countries in Guangzhou are living on it. It is said that more than 80% of the residents are expats and working personnel from foreign invested institutions.

Whampoa Military Academy
With post-imperial China carved up among different powerful warlords reigning over independent areas of control, Sun Yat-sen and the young Republic of China government needed more than lofty ideas about national unity and a renewed country. With help from the Soviet Union, the Nationalist Party of China Army Officer Academy was built on Changzhou Island. Known more commonly as the Whampoa Military Academy, Sun established the school in 1924 to train cadets that would go on to take part in the Northern Expedition, a military campaign to take parts of China under the control of various warlords and place them under the control of the Nationalist government. Chiang Kai-shek was made the school’s first commandant while future Premiere of the PRC Zhou Enlai was made the director of the political department. Just twelve years later, the Japanese destroyed the Whampoa Academy, but it was restored in 1965 and is now a museum on Chinese military history. Bicycle rentals are also available on the island (they can be found near the pier) and make for a good way to explore.

Yuexiu Park
Yuexiu Park is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou. Covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres), it is made up of three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain; hence the name. It is a perfect combination of cultural relics and ecological tourism, reputed for its pretty water and hills as well as cultural relics. The main places of interest include the stone sculpture of the Five Rams, Zhenhai Tower, the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall, and Square Cannon Site.

Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
Built in 1894, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall is a place for your historical travel where you can see unique ancient Chinese architecture arts. Since 1959, the Chen Family Temple has been established as Folk Art Museum to exhibit folk arts of Guangdong province. Being the biggest, best-preserved and most gorgeously decorated traditional building in Guangdong Province, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall is a symmetrical complex comprising 19 single buildings which are connected with verandas and interspaced by courtyards. The entire building is decorated with arts including skillful wood carving, brick carving, stone carving, lime sculpture, pottery sculpture, iron and copper casting, and color painting.

Pearl River Cruise
The Pearl River is 2,124 kilometers long, as the largest river in South China and the third largest in China. It is the 'Mother River' of Guangzhou. The Pearl River consists of five rivers, including Xijiang (the West River), Beijiang(the North River), Dongjiang (the East River), Liuxihe (the Liuxi River) and Xunjiang (the Xun River). The main stream Xijiang (the West River) originates from a Caster water cave at Mahongshan, Qujing city, Yunnan province. It runs across Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Guangdong provinces. A charming one-hour cruise on it may be a most romantic way to enjoy the appealing city views. On the water you get a refreshingly different and open panorama of the city; the picturesque and diversified waterfronts and river views are a feast for the senses during the day, at sunset, or at night. It's perfect to catch your breath away from the crowds on land.
