• Keep your passport on you constantly. It might be needed to buy entrance tickets.

Day 1 Arrival in Xiamen, Xiamen Airport or Train Station Pick-up
You will be greeted by a private driver at Xiamen airport or railway stations and transferred to your hotel. After getting settled at the hotel, you may explore the downtown area on your own or relax during the remainder of the day to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2 Xiamen, Nanjing Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, Yuchang Building, Taxia Village
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Nanjing Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster by a comfortable air-conditioned private vehicle (3 hours). Tianluokeng is home to a cluster of five tulous, four circular Tulou arranged around a square tulou, creating an architectural harmony that blends in with the surrounding landscape. Its unusual appearance has earned it the name “four dishes and one soup”, as it resembles the layout for an average family dinner in China. Visit Yuchang Building in the afternoon. Surrounded by a tiny village and rice paddies, Yuchang Building is one of the oldest Tulou as well as one of the tallest Tulou in China. Afterwards, wander through Taxia Village. Tucked away in the lush green mountains, the ancient Hakka village of Taxia is one of the oldest and most spectacular villages in China. The village is split by a river, which flows through the heart of the village and is lined by over 20 traditional Tulou.

Day 3 Xiamen, Gulangyu Island, Huli Mountain Fort, South Putuo Temple, Bullet Train to Wuyi Mountains
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the ferry terminal by a comfortable air-conditioned private vehicle, then take a 10-minute ferry to Gulangyu Island. Just off Xiamen's coast, Gulangyu Island is renowned for its beaches, winding lanes and rich architecture and for hosting China's only piano museum, giving it the nickname of "Piano Island" or "The Town of Pianos" or "The Island of Music" . Head up to Sunlight Rock for panoramic views over the island and Xiamen. Take a stroll around Shuzhuang Garden with its bamboo forest, caves and sea-view slopes, and Piano Museum which has exhibits on the history and culture of pianos, including a collection of over 100 models from across the world. Then visit Huli Mountain Fort. Perched on Xiamen Island’s south coast, Huli Mountain Fort has a strategic position overlooking the Taiwan Strait. Here you can see the oldest and largest 19th-century breech-loading Krupp cannon as well as the smallest cannon in the world. Visit South Putuo Temple in the afternoon. South Putuo Temple has been a Buddhist temple site for more than a millennia. Strolling around its extensive grounds, you’ll come across terraces, pools and pagodas, with views out over the sea. Afterwards, take a three hour bullet train to Wuyi Mountains.

Day 4 Wuyi Mountains, Cruise on Jiuqu Stream, Wuyi Palace, Tianyou Peak
After breakfast, you will spend the full day to admire the beauty of Wuyi Mountains. Take the bamboo raft fitted with rattan chairs to float down along the Jiuqu Stream (Nine Bends Stream), during this one & half hours sailing, appreciate the natural scenery along the banks, watch the hanging boat coffins on the cliff. Followed by a visit to Wuyi Palace, the most ancient Taoist temple at Wuyi Mountains. Stroll along the Song Street, an imitating street full of structures of Song Dynasty archtecture, to savor the charm of ancient Song dynasty. Climb up the Tianyou Peak (Heavenly Tour Peak) to have a bird's-eye view of the magnificent mountain scenic area. Enjoy the multiple caves of Yunwo and the extraordinary Tea Cave, and encounter with the misty scenery when in right time and season.

Day 5 Wuyi Mountains, Dahongpao Scenic Area, Xiamei Ancient Village, Departure from Wuyi Mountains
After breakfast at hotel you’ll visit the Dahongpao Scenic Area (Big Red Robe Scenic Area), a must-see for any Wuyi Mountains tour. You can see the highly prized Dahongpao Tea Trees growing on the sheer hillside and admire the over seed tea trees of 1000 years old there. Then go to the Shuilian Cave (Water Curtain Cave) area to appreciate the fancy waterfalls and the flying springs. Afterwards, drive about 10 minutes to Xiamei Village to enjoy the featured old dwellings built about 1400 years ago.
