Introducing China-ASEAN Expo Venue
At the 7th China-ASEAN Summit on October 8, 2003, Premier Wen Jiabao proposed that a China-ASEAN Expo be held annually in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from 2004 onward. His initiative was welcomed by ASEAN leaders and was inscribed into the Chairman's Statement released after the summit. Premier Wen also suggested that a China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) be held simultaneously with the China-ASEAN Expo. Based on the Framework Agreement on China-ASEAN Comprehensive Economic Cooperation, with the sole objectives of promoting the building of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, and striving for mutual benefit and common prosperity, the China-ASEAN Expo focuses on regional economic and trade cooperation as well as providing tremendous opportunities for global business communities. The first CAEXPO and CABIS were successfully held in the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nanning in November 2004.

What to expect at China-ASEAN Expo Venue
Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center covers an area of 560 mu. The whole building is divided into seven districts. There are 18 exhibition halls of different specifications in the exhibition section. The largest exhibition hall is 15,800 square meters and the smallest one is 2,160 square meters. It can accommodate up to 5,529 international standard booths. The conference section has 18 conference rooms (rooms) and news centers of different sizes, with full-featured sound amplification equipment, 106 simultaneous interpretation system, video teleconferencing system, public address system, security system, computer network and other intelligent The system can meet the requirements of various international conferences, forums, business negotiations and academic reports. District A has a 4,500-square-meter permit hall, a commercial center, a supporting catering area that can accommodate more than 4,000 people at the same time, and a slow-moving system that reflects humanistic care. District B is provided with a welcome hall, a VIP lounge, Golden Osmanthus Hall ( a multi-function hall), a news center and an exhibition hall; District C consists of an administrative comprehensive building, Jinyan Theater and Friendship Sunshine Hall; District D is the main exhibition area, along with Hibiscus Hall (multi-function hall) and conference; District E is for exhibitions; District F and G are office area, equipped with hotels, a square and parking lot. How to get to China-ASEAN Expo Venue
• Take Metro Line 1 to Exhibition Center.
• Take bus 6, 16, 25, 39, 42, 43, 56, 72, 76, 79, 87, 90, 121, 213, 509, 701, 706, B47, B206 to Minzu Huizhan Lukou Station.
