The 8,000-plus life-sized warriors are arranged in vaults to guard the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China, a major architect of the Great Wall and unifier of China. Then you will visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang which was constructed over 38 years, from 246 to 208 BC, and is situated underneath a 76-meter-tall tomb mound shaped like a truncated pyramid. In the afternoon, you will visit the 1300 year old Tang Dynasty constructed Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a perfect example of the multi-eaved square brick pagodas built in ancient China. Being the starting point of the Silk Road, the ancient trade route linking China with the Middle East and Europe, Xian is deeply influenced by Islamic culture which is best observed in the Muslim Quarter. Xian Muslim Quarter covers several blocks with an estimated 60,000 Muslims in the region. Great Tour Review by Williams Isabella

What a trip... you really cover a lot of ground in a short time. Our tour guide's name was Demi, She did such a good job of explaining both the history of those sites where i visited, As well as the modern way of thinking. I typically travel solo, and so joining hands with a tour was a leap of faith on my part... I can honestly say it was worth every penny.
What you will not find written in the itinerary is the personality of the guide... but I think this is a very important part of a guided tour. You want someone who is knowledgeable, but also knows how to relate to the dynamics of the group. Demi has the right mix of both, and everyone was very sad to say goodbye when the time came. If you are lucky enough to book a tour with her, you will not be disappointed. (Posted on 7/16/2019)
